Membership

To apply for membership, please go to the new EESA website.

 

New members are allocated to one of the following categories:

Individual Member - Members are actively engaged in the electricity supply industry in the field of electrical generation, transmission, distribution, retail or end-use applications. Members are eligible to hold office and are entitled to vote on any matter requiring a division, ballot, or show of hands.

Student Member - any  person who is attending a full time course of secondary or tertiary education at a recognised educational institution shall be eligible for student membership.

Corporate Member - Incorporated bodies (usually major utilities) who are closely associated with the Society through the various State Chapter Committees. Specially focussed training sessions can be arranged for Corporate members and the Society can bring experts in specific fields of particular relevance to address members' staff. 

Distinguished or Life Member - Members of EESA can also be nominated for Distinguished or Life Membership.

Individual membership Fees (INC GST)

Working: $88

Retired or temporarily not working: $33

Postgraduate Student: $33

Undergraduate Student: Free (must provide proof of enrolment and expected date of completion)

Corporate membership fees (EX GST)

Bronze: $800

Silver: $1600

Gold: $3200

Platinum: $6400
