Synopsis: With advances in enabling technologies and control systems, smart grids are increasingly being looked at and adopted as the next generation of power distribution networks.

This half day tutorial style seminar is aimed at practitioners that would like to better appreciate the latest developments in smart grids. This is offered as a general introduction to smart grids and relates to current technologies available. Experts from Academia and industry will present topics to provide an overall appreciation and some practical guidelines for the delegate to take back to the workplace.

The seminar is aimed at tradesmen, technicians and engineers with an aim to cover the practical applications of theory around smart grid technology, and will reference material for advanced learning.
